1. What is Fhunger and does Fhunger deliver food?
Fhunger is a food ordering platform which offers innovative technology and a marketplace to small and medium local food providers to sell their food. For now it’s a takeaway service only where you place the order and go to the food provider to pick up food.
2. How does Fhunger's Surprise Bags work?
Surprise Bags are mystery meals curated by local food providers. It’s a surprise because in most cases the food providers fill it from their surplus food inventory or sometimes food providers are creating new food combinations and want customers to try the food. Surprise bags are time sensitive offers and available in limited quantities. Simply order a Surprise Bag, pick it up, and enjoy a surprise meal!
3. What if I have dietary restrictions or preferences?
You can specify any dietary restrictions or preferences in the order notes when placing your order. Our partner restaurants will do their best to accommodate your needs. Where applicable, menu items will have allergen details for your reference. For surprise bags please ask the food provider while picking up the food.
4. Can I track my order status on Fhunger?
Yes, you can track your order status in real-time through the Fhunger app. You’ll receive updates on the preparation and when your order is ready for Pick-up.
5. How does the "Quote Your Price" feature work?
With “Quote Your Price,” you can negotiate digitally for large orders to fit your budget. Simply select the dishes from participating restaurants, meet the minimum order value requirements, provide your details, and submit your desired price request as compared to the cart base price before taxes. Based on your quote, your price may get auto approved or Fhunger will facilitate the negotiation process with the restaurant Once your request is approved you will be notified in the Fhunger App to make the payment and place the order within 30 minutes. A request is not a guaranteed order unless it’s paid after approval and it’s confirmed by the restaurant. You can place requests for the same day or for advance orders or use the reorder option to submit a request again from a previous order.
6. How do I know if my quote is accepted by the food provider?
Once you submit your price quote, the restaurant will either accept it, offer a counter-price, or decline. You’ll receive notification of their response through the Fhunger app and notifications. If they approve you can pay within 30 minutes to place the order or cancel the request. If they counter your offer, this will be your last chance to either accept their price and proceed to pay within 30 minutes or submit a revised price or cancel the request. Based on your revised price, the provider may accept or decline your quote and you will be notified through the Fhunger App. If you do not take your actions within the 30 minute window the request will get auto canceled.
7. How soon can I expect a response for a “Quote Your Price” request?
In most cases your request will be automatically approved or you will be notified to revisit your requested price, if it’s too low. If your requested price is not automatically approved it will be sent to food providers for review. Food providers typically respond to price quotes within 30 minutes. If you haven’t received a response within this timeframe, the request will get automatically canceled and you can raise a new request for the same provider or new provider from the “Quote Your Price” section in the Fhunger App.
8. Is there a minimum or maximum price tied to “Quote Your Price”?
Yes, there is a restaurant specific minimum qualifying base price amount. We encourage you to provide reasonable quotes based on the meal’s value, your budget and market rates. Fhunger platform may auto reject your quotes and ask you to revisit the price or providers may decline quotes that are significantly below their pricing standards.
9. How do I earn and redeem Fun Points?
You earn 1 Fun Point for every $1 spent on Fhunger. You can redeem Fun Points for discounts on future orders according to our redemption options available in the Fhunger app or in our Fhunger Rewards Terms of Use.
10. Does Fhunger offer promotions and discounts?
Yes, Fhunger releases promotional offers and promotional code from time to time and it offers benefits to its existing and new customers.
11. How do I pick up my takeaway order?
Once your order is confirmed, visit the food provider based on the pick-up time confirmed by the food provider. You will receive notification and updates on your order and you will be notified when it’s ready for pick up. Be sure to bring your confirmation details or order number for reference.
12. Can I track my takeaway order on Fhunger?
Yes, Fhunger provides order tracking features for takeaway orders, allowing you to monitor the status of your order from preparation to pickup.
13. How do I track my Fhunger Rewards points and redeem them for benefits?
Tracking your Fhunger Rewards points is easy! Simply log in to your Fhunger account in the App and navigate to the Rewards section, where you can view your current points balance and history. To redeem your points, add items to the cart and follow the prompts to apply your points towards discounts, in the cart. Enjoy the perks of being a loyal Fhunger customer!
14. Can I use Fhunger as a Guest user?
Yes, you can use Fhunger as a guest. During check-out you will be asked to provide your contact and payment details. If you sign-up you will avoid entering these details again and again and you will also be rewarded for your orders with Fun Points. You can sign-up using social credentials or any of your email.
15. Can I cancel my order on Fhunger?
Yes, but not on the Fhunger App. You will have to call the Fhunger support team or submit a request through the Fhunger App. You can navigate to the Help section and then click contact us and submit the request.
